M2Capital has been active in the private equity investment market since 1997. Both its mission and mandate is to ensure that investors' yields are above the relevant benchmarks.

M2Capital invests preferably in companies which are active in large regional and global niche markets, primarily in sectors related to mechanical and apparatus engineering, the electrical industry, chemical or medical technology.

M2Capital invests as a controlling shareholder and pursues a direct business approach. It arranges financial solutions for companies and, if necessary, also provides management capacities. M2Capital actively provides advice and management assistance, thereby adding value to the companies they serve.

M2Capital supports the management with extensive business know-how in the domains of finance, taxation, strategy development and process management. If necessary, the management of M2Capital are also directly involved in operational matters. Managers at M2Capital are familiar with and have experience dealing with potential problems, in terms of strategy and operations, which are often faced by internationally-active companies. They possess many years of experience dealing with management and factual issues, specifically for example, expansion into new markets, the development and provision of sustainable financial concepts, handling different mentalities or the implementation of international manufacturing concepts with support programmes.
